The Sunbrella Silica Fabric, part of the Sunbrella Marine Grade Collection from Glen Raven, is a top choice in the boating industry for its excellent color range, outstanding resistance to fading, and longevity. The Silica pattern, subtly textured, adds a contemporary and elegant touch to any project. It achieves a linen-like texture through the use of two distinct yarn types: slub (varying thickness) and marl (two colors of yarn twisted together), with the textured side designed to face outwards. However, the fabric’s versatility allows either side to be used as per preference.

This fabric is woven from soft, breathable, solution-dyed acrylic yarns, ensuring it is UV, water, and mildew resistant, and maintains its size and shape with minimal shrinking or stretching. Recognized as the finest fabric for outdoor use, Sunbrella Marine Grade fabrics are also notably easy to sew.

Ideally suited for outdoor applications, this Sunbrella fabric is perfect for a range of uses including marine awnings, biminis, dodgers, enclosures, boat covers, sail covers, sail bags, exterior marine cushions, and outdoor awnings.
